Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant -Key Responsibilities

• Support class teachers across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 in delivering engaging lessons
• Provide targeted support to pupils, including one-to-one and small group interventions
• Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom displays
• Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment
• Support pupils with additional learning needs and liaise with SEN staff where appropriate
• Contribute to school life, including events, trips, and extracurricular activities
  
  

Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant -Requirements

• A degree in any subject (minimum 2:1 classification is required)
• A genuine interest in primary education and child development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning
• Previous experience working with children (in a school, club, or voluntary setting) is desirable but not essential
