An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced SENCO to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kensington from April 2025. This role can be full-time or part-time, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

The school is seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the SEND provision across the school, ensuring high-quality support for all pupils with additional needs
  • Managing and coordinating EHCPs, interventions, and support plans in collaboration with staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Providing advice, training, and guidance to teachers and support staff to ensure best SEND practices are implemented
  • Monitoring pupil progress and working closely with the leadership team to develop inclusive teaching strategies
  • Ensuring the school remains compliant with SEND legislation and policies
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and NASENCO qualification (essential)
  • Experience working as a SENCO in a primary school

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff
