Job summary

Vision For Education are recruiting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to work across primary schools in Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and surrounding areas. Pay is £130-£160 per day, with weekly PAYE and flexible day-to-day or longer-term placements to suit induction needs.

Opportunities span EYFS, KS1 and KS2, including day-to-day supply, regular work with the same schools, half-term and longer placements, and potential permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service required.
• Two suitable professional references covering training placements or recent employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Deliver lessons using school-provided resources on day-to-day bookings.
• Manage the classroom and create a positive learning environment.
• Build experience across different year groups and school settings.
• Develop relationships with local schools that may lead to longer-term opportunities.
