An esteemed and well-regarded independent preparatory school in Potters Bar are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Design and Technology Teacher to join their dynamic teaching team from January 2026.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity, open to both primary-trained class teachers with a strong passion for Design Technology and subject specialists with a desire to inspire young learners from Year 1 to Year 6.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging DT lessons to pupils in Years 1-6.
  • Inspire creativity, innovation, and a love for practical work.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback and written reports.
  • Contribute to the school's vibrant co-curricular programme, including clubs and events.
  • Support pupils pastorally and uphold high standards of behaviour and conduct.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the Prep School's community and values.
