GSL Education is currently seeking to appoint enthusiastic Primary Cover Teacher to undertake a position at one of our client primary schools in Hull .

Job Summary: A primary cover teacher is responsible for temporarily taking over the class when the regular teacher is absent. Their role is crucial in maintaining the continuity of education and ensuring that students continue to learn effectively in the absence of their regular teacher.

Primary Cover Teacher Role:

• Delivering high-quality lessons to Key Stage 1 students in the absence of the regular class teacher.
• Following lesson plans and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Providing support and guidance to students in their learning activities.
• Collaborating with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity in students' education.

The successful candidate will:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Flexibility and adaptability to cover various classes.
• Passion for fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
