Job summary

A leading independent prep school in North West London, bordering Hertfordshire, is seeking a Primary Cover Teacher from November 2026. The role is a half-term contract initially, with potential to extend until Easter, and involves teaching across the primary age range.

You will work with KS1/KS2 and Year 4, Year 6, and EYFS PPA, with lessons planned and delivered in an imaginative, engaging way. Applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding checks including an enhanced DBS.

A leading independent prep school in North West London, bordering Hertfordshire is seeking a Primary Cover Teacher from November 2026. This is a half term contract initially, but likely to last until Easter. It will involve teaching across the primary age range.

The school are looking for someone who has experience of teaching primary classes, ideally KS1 and KS2. You will teach some Year 4, some Year 6 and some EYFS PPA. Lessons will be planned and you will be expected to deliver them in an imaginative, simulating and enjoyable way, which inspire the children and encourage a genuine spirit of enquiry. Also, to work collaboratively with other members of the year group team.
