Primary Cover Teacher needed in Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Academics are working closely with a number of primary schools based in and surrounding Chesterfield who have a range of temporary, primary cover teacher posts available with both immediate and September 2025 starts.

This role is great if you are looking to broaden your experience across all key stages including EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

As a Primary Cover Teacher in Chesterfield, you get the rewarding aspects of teaching, where you directly impact a child's education and learning. However, you do not take home the stress of planning and preparation.

Day to day responsibilities of working as a Primary Cover Teacher include:

• Supporting varied schools within the local area to Chesterfield
• Working hours between 8.30am and 16.00pm
• Delivering planned lessons
• Being creative and innovative with your approach
• Adhering to safeguarding and behaviour policies
• Reporting to members of the school team
