Primary Cover Supervisor - Leicester City

Full Time: Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 3:30pm, Term Time Only

Part-time / flexible hours also available

Responsibilities

Career Teachers Leicester are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor for a large primary school in Leicester City. The role involves overseeing classes of 25 - 30 students while they complete work that has been previously set for them by an absent teacher or a teacher on PPA cover. You will be required to oversee the completion of work within a variety of different subjects, including Maths, English, Science, etc. The school expect the Cover Supervisor to support learners academic progress where possible whilst also ensuring that students are behaving appropriately during lessons. You will be expected to commit to a full-time role and be flexible to get involved in a variety of subjects across the school curriculum.

This is a great opportunity to start a career in education and could suit ECTs or Level 2/3 qualified Teaching Assistants with experience doing PPA cover.
