The School and Role

We are looking for a part-time Primary Class Teacher on behalf of a small and friendly primary school in the South Shields area. The successful teacher will be expected to deliver outstanding teaching in accordance with the national curriculum, working as part of an established team in the Lower Key Stage 2 section of the school. The role would be for two and a half days per week. This school operates within an ethos emphasising the creation of a happy and friendly learning environment. The school is seeking a qualified teacher for this role.

Requirements

The desired Primary Class Teacher will have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status in the UK
  • Experience delivering teaching to Key Stage 2 aged children
  • A hardworking, proactive and forward-thinking attitude
  • A passion for ensuring the progress of pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Preferably experience of working with pupils with SEND
