Alton Park Junior School is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to inspire learners within a supportive community. The role is available as 80% FTE or 100% FTE, with a focus on engaging lessons and a safe, inclusive classroom culture.

The successful candidate will hold UK QTS, have primary teaching experience, and be committed to safeguarding children while contributing to the school’s high aspirations and values.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Experience teaching in the primary sector
• Knowledge of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies
• Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
• Commitment to the school’s vision and values

Responsabilités

• Promote the school's aims and ethos and support the Headteacher in maintaining its philosophy
• Set high expectations to inspire and challenge pupils
• Promote progress and outcomes for pupils
• Plan and deliver well-structured lessons
• Manage behaviour to create a safe learning environment
