Long-Term Teachers are working with fantastic mainstream and SEND schools for pupils, and we are looking for more qualified primary school teachers to join us in supporting these local schools.

We are seeking a caring, dedicated, qualified teacher who can build trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. It is essential that you have at least 2 years of teaching experience in the UK. You will be planning and delivering sessions for students in Key Stage 2, so prior experience teaching this key stage is desirable.

Essential requirements before applying:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching across the primary phase
• An accomplished and experienced classroom teacher
• Experience setting targets, monitoring, assessment, and performance tracking to raise pupil achievement
• Ability to work well within a team
• Understanding of SEND and support strategies

Key responsibilities:

• Set and evaluate individual termly targets; maintain achievement records for children and young people (CYP) in consultation with colleagues
• Provide reports and assessments for CYP according to school policy and for various audiences, including detailed reports before annual reviews
• Maintain effective communication with parents/carers regarding their child's welfare, progress, and participation in our school community
• Ensure pupil safeguarding in compliance with Education Provisions (EP) safeguarding policies, report concerns to the Safeguarding team, and record information on the EP safeguarding system
