Primary Care Pharmacy Technician - Locum Opportunity in Leicester

Are you a qualified Pharmacy Technician with experience in primary care? We have an exciting locum role available in Leicester, starting this August, within a well-established GP surgery committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Position : Locum Pharmacy Technician - GP Practice Location : Leicester Start Date : August 2025 Duration : Ongoing contract Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (30-minute unpaid break) Hourly Rate : �19 - �25 DOE

About the Surgery:
You'll be joining a welcoming and experienced primary care team focused on improving health outcomes across the local population. The surgery uses SystemOne and benefits from an integrated pharmacy team that plays a vital role in streamlining medication processes and enhancing patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing repeat prescription processes efficiently

Supporting medicines reconciliation and optimisation initiatives

Engaging in clinical audits and supporting QOF targets

Working collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and other allied health professionals

Maintaining accurate patient records via SystemOne

Candidate Profile:

GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician

Primary care or PCN experience preferred

Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with SystemOne desirable

Proactive, organised, and patient-focused
