A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Primary Care Pharmacist to join their North Bournemouth team. This role involves conducting clinical medication reviews, supporting patient medication needs, and educating healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, alongside a vocational master's degree in Pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

The Senior Pharmacist will undertake clinical medication reviews and patient facing clinics, working in partnership with the patient’s GP practice, nurses, care homes, community pharmacists, secondary care and the local authority.
Utilising their prescribing qualification, the role will support the medication needs of the patients as well as educate other healthcare professionals on prescribing and the effective use of medicines.
The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated and able to work on their own, whilst also integrating into a well-established team. You will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills together with a good working knowledge of primary care and the challenges facing medicines management in the new era.
This is a fixed term role to cover maternity leave and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.
