Job summary

Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking a Specialist Pharmacist Primary Care (Band 7) to work across the Banff & Fraserburgh Cluster, providing medicines management support for GP practices and Community Hospitals.

The post includes on-site work in GP practices with flexible remote base options within the HSCP area, and Independent Prescriber training may be supported for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist joining Pharmacotherapy teams in Primary Care.
• Experience in medicines management and audit is advantageous.
• Independent Prescriber training would be supported if not held.
• Experience in Primary Care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support GP practices and community hospitals with medicines management.
• Promote quality, cost‑effective prescribing in line with guidelines.
• Work across Banff & Fraserburgh Cluster with pharmacists and technicians.
