Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 primary care nurse for HMP Littlehey, a category C men's prison. You will provide holistic clinical care for adult male prisoners, administer medications, screen new arrivals, and respond to emergencies within a secure setting.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team across two healthcare centres and contribute to daily healthcare operations under supervision from a Band 6 nurse.

Qualifikationen

• NMC registration or pending registration.
• Experience in prison healthcare.
• Security vetting with at least 3 years' UK residency.

Aufgaben

• Provide holistic, evidence-based healthcare for prisoners.
• Assist in taking charge of the healthcare centre daily.
• Oversee day-to-day healthcare services under the oversight of a band 6 nurse.
• Record nursing practice on the Trust electronic record system.
• Attend emergencies using NEWS 2 assessment.
