Job description

As a Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will:

  • Be an integral part of the healthcare team at Brinsford by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care.
  • Be involved in developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests, answering emergency calls, and potentially attending emergencies.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions.

You will be a Registered Nurse (Adult), NMC qualified, with evidence of ongoing professional development. You should have an understanding of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working, coupled with a compassionate approach, and be able to work independently following policies and procedures.

This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality healthcare efficiently. The position involves working over four days, Monday to Friday, with hours from 7am to 5pm or 7.30am to 5.30pm, and weekends and bank holidays from 7.15am to 12 noon. The annual salary is up to £40,211, depending on experience. Support includes a bespoke induction, competency framework, regional and national development opportunities, and access to our Learning Management System. Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK, and employment is subject to vetting and security checks.
