St Thomas Medical Group seeks an enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our friendly multidisciplinary team across Exeter. This part-time role (3 days a week, days to be agreed) offers varied workload, health monitoring, vaccinations and evidence-based nursing care, with opportunities to contribute to service development and support colleagues.

You will undertake new patient health checks, support the practice nurse with health promotion, perform routine observations, wound care and chronic

Qualifications

• Experience in nursing teams and caring for patients in healthcare settings.
• Phlebotomy and basic clinical skills are expected.
• Experience with venepuncture, ECGs, wound care and health monitoring is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Develop and embed health promotion and well-being programmes.
• Provide routine nursing care and support chronic disease clinics.
• Undertake new patient health checks and venepuncture when trained.
• Administer vaccinations under PSD and support 24-hour BP monitoring.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and safeguarding duties.
