Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking an enthusiastic clinical pharmacist to join the Mid Ross Pharmacy Team, delivering the pharmacotherapy service in General Practice.

The role supports development toward primary care with Independent Prescriber training and close collaboration with patients and a multidisciplinary team, delivering care by telephone and face-to-face consultations across local GP surgeries.

Qualifications

• Good communication, organisational and IT skills.
• Willingness to move to primary care or develop as a primary care pharmacist.
• Full driving license and own car for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver pharmacotherapy service in General Practice.
• Deliver patient care via telephone and face-to-face consultations.
• Work with patients and a multidisciplinary team as part of the healthcare team.
• Travel to a number of locations for work.
