Job summary

Practice Plus Group Holdings Limited is seeking a Primary Care Clinical Lead for the HMP Eastwood Park site. The role combines managerial and clinical work, with direct line management of two staff and up to six in total.

The prison setting is female-only, near Fairfield, with secure facilities and on-site amenities. The Health in Justice team delivers NHS services to over 40,000 patients, driving equitable access and quality care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Adult with current NMC registration.
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
• Understanding of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working.
• Non-judgmental and compassionate approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Existing line management experience and mentorship of students.

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Primary Care Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Provide clinical leadership and management to the registered nurses and care teams.
• Deputise on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required.
• Work closely with partners to maintain a robust, high quality clinical service for patients. Ensure that own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role.
• Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication and competence.
• Clinical Lead you will coach, line manage and develop clinician staff; support and contribute in undertaking audits and governance and contribute to developing and reviewing clinical/non clinical Local Operating Protocols for the site.
• Chair and facilitate specific healthcare meetings with the team and different partners, provide clinical supervision (training available) and carry our investigations locally and for the wider region.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care team at HMP Eastwood Park. As Primary Care Clinical Lead your time will be split between managerial and clinical work with direct line management of 2 individuals but up to a maximum of 6. HMP Eastwood Park is a female only prison housing up to 400 inmates and located just outside the village of Fairfield with close access to the M5 motorway. Hours

This is a full time position running Monday to Friday over 37.5 hours per week with main shifts being 08.00 - 16.00 and the occasional 07.00 start required., This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £58,012 per annum - depending on experience.
