Pay: £49,848 - £55,996 depending on experience

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week (can be condensed to 4 days)

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care team at HMP Whatton, a category C Prison located in Nottinghamshire.

The Primary Care Clinical Lead will manage and lead a diverse team of 11 healthcare professionals, including nurses, assistant practitioners, and healthcare assistants. You will oversee clinical indicators and provide strong leadership and direction within a primary care setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and management to the registered nurses and care teams.
  • Deputise on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required.
  • Work closely with partners to maintain a robust, high-quality clinical service for patients.
  • Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication, and competence.
  • Clinical Lead will coach, line manage, and develop clinician staff; support and contribute to undertaking audits and governance.
