We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care team at HMP Doncaster, a category B Prison located in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without compromising on efficiency and quality.

Hours

Monday to Friday - 07:00/08:00 - 16:00

Salary

This position is full time, with an annual salary up to £55,996 per annum, depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

As a Primary Care Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical leadership and management to registered nurses and care teams.
  • Working with partners to maintain a high-quality clinical service for patients. Ensuring your clinical practice aligns with autonomous practice within the role.
  • Modeling a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication, and competence.
  • Coaching, managing, and developing clinician staff; supporting audits and governance; contributing to developing and reviewing clinical/non-clinical Local Operating Protocols for the site.

Qualifications & Experience required

  • Registered Nurse - Adult, with current professional qualification (NMC)
  • Understanding of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working complexities
  • A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Existing line management and mentorship experience

While not essential, experience in hospital, community, or prison environments is advantageous.
