Higher Level Teacher Assistant or Teacher Assistant Job (Art)

Location: Lambeth, South London

Days: Tuesday to Thursday (3 days a week)

Start Date: April 2025

Salary: £115-£120 per day based on experience

About the Role:

This Lambeth primary school is in need of a dynamic HLTA or a self-starting TA who is passionate about Art to join their team. Art is an integral part of the school's PPA sessions each week, and the school is looking for someone who can take responsibility for teaching Art to pupils from Reception to Year 6. Planning is provided.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging art lessons based on provided planning.
• Collaborate with the Art and DT lead to ensure lessons are effective and enjoyable.
• Be proactive in adapting and enhancing lesson plans as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience of teaching or assisting in art lessons.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with the Art and DT lead.
