Axcis Education Recruitment seeks a dedicated 1-to-1 SEND teaching assistant for a primary school in Darlaston, starting in September. Are you passionate about making a difference to young people with special educational needs & disabilities? Axcis is working with a mainstream primary school in Darlaston seeking a 1-to-1 SEND teaching assistant to start in September. An earlier start is available to help you embed into the school during the current academic year, working with a separate child. This role involves working in the school’s reception class with a child who is autistic and non-verbal.
You will need to be proactive and enjoy the challenge of working with the SENCo & teacher to meet the needs of the child. Previous experience working with individuals with SEND is required. We welcome applicants from residential, care, support work, or similar professions.
Every applicant will be contacted by our local consultant to progress your application through our process. The role offers weekly pay, paid a week in arrears, from a PAYE rate starting at £89 per day. It is a term-time only position, working Monday to Friday.
