A fantastic school in the London borough of Islington are looking for an exceptional Primary 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team to support students across various Key Stages.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with and supporting children with a range of needs. You will be collaborating with Teachers, SENCOs and Therapists to support the students through a combination of 1:1 interventions, small group activities and general classroom support.

• Social Workers / Youth Workers
• People who have experience of working with children and young people with behaviour / mental health challenges
• Graduates with experience and career aspirations working with SEN

THE ROLE

• Primary 1:1 Teaching Assistant
• Supporting a targeted students with Special Educational Needs (Autism, Communication and Language Delay)
• 1:1 support in and out of the classroom
• DBS Certificate required
• Full-time & long-term
• Ideal for those who are compassionate, calm, confident, motivational, and ideally experienced in working in similar SEN roles previously
