Job description

We are partnering with an Insurance Intermediary seeking a Pricing & Panel Director.

You will lead, manage, and develop the Broker Pricing and Panel team to become best in class, leveraging technology to gain a competitive edge and exceed commercial targets while aligning with customer and conduct ambitions.

The Director of Pricing and Panel will develop and implement the commercial strategy for these functions, working closely with a panel of insurers and in-house underwriters. The role involves leading Pricing Development and Panel functions to drive volume growth and competitiveness through enhanced capabilities, utilizing technology and data enrichment to achieve significant growth and EBITDA improvements.

The role will also involve developing strategies, plans, and processes to improve conduct and ensure fair value outcomes in line with the company's overall risk appetite. Additionally, they will be a key contributor to the insurance strategy aimed at delivering long-term growth.

Personal Characteristics

Technical Experience

  • Experience working within FCA-regulated environments
  • Excellent knowledge of insurance regulation and its application to an insurance business
  • Proven track record in complex financial and consumer modeling
  • Extensive analytical experience in data-rich environments, with familiarity with tools like SAS
  • Experience in customer lifetime value, CRM, and segmentation strategies
