Job summary

Connected Kerb, a leader in urban EV charging, seeks a Head of Pricing & Margin to steer pricing, energy procurement and margin strategy. You will be the energy markets expert, designing tariffs, forecasting demand, hedging, and margin reporting while partnering with Finance, Marketing and Operations.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years management experience within electricity supply, trading, or energy services.
• Strong understanding of UK electricity markets, procurement and wholesale dynamics.
• Strong knowledge of flexibility markets, balancing mechanisms and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing energy procurement, trading or hedging strategies.
• Significant experience managing energy portfolio risk, forecasting demand and market exposures.
• Proven P&L ownership, margin management and performance reporting.
• Advanced analytical modelling, forecasting, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
• Experience leading teams and managing external consultants and suppliers.
• Strong stakeholder management with Board-level influence.
• Experience in high-growth, scaling or private-equity-backed environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing strategy and margin ownership across the charging network.
• Partner with Marketing and Finance to develop tariff strategies considering demand and market conditions.
• Own margin reporting, forecasting and performance analysis for executive decisions.
• Collaborate with Marketing to use insights in tariff design while owning pricing recommendations.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve profitability through pricing optimisation and innovation.
• Identify opportunities to improve margin beyond budget assumptions.
• Develop energy procurement, portfolio management and supply strategy.
• Own energy portfolio P&L, including procurement costs and margin performance.
• Develop forecasting models for electricity demand and charging utilisation.
• Implement hedging strategies to manage wholesale volatility and optimise returns.
• Monitor energy market exposures and regulatory developments.
• Establish governance for portfolio performance and margin delivery.
• Build relationships with suppliers, aggregators and market participants.
• Support customer negotiations with pricing, tariff and margin insights.
