I am delighted to be working exclusively with a leading UK law firm that due to continued success and growth is expanding the team. The pricing function has played a key role in driving profitability and supporting the firm’s ambitious growth both domestically and internationally. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Pricing Manager to lead on high-impact initiatives and further enhance their strategic pricing capabilities.
In this role, you will independently lead pricing on the firm’s most significant panel responses and mandates, working closely with the commercial finance teams and Head of Pricing to drive a strategic, commercially-focused pricing agenda. You will advise Partners and client teams on pricing strategies to improve profitability, support the firm’s pricing governance framework and act as the go-to resource for all pricing-related matters. Additionally, you will deliver pricing training, identify client engagement opportunities, lead revenue and efficiency-focused projects and stay on top of market trends to keep the firm competitive.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in a senior pricing role within a law firm or similar professional services setting, with a strong grasp of legal pricing strategies, alternative fee arrangements and profitability drivers. You must be confident in managing senior stakeholders, possess excellent analytical and financial modelling skills, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience with pricing technology, large data sets and designing training for senior stakeholders is highly desirable.
