I’m working with a specialist personal lines insurer seeking a Pricing Manager to lead the delivery of innovative, insight-led pricing strategies across its portfolio. Based in London with 1 day per week in the office preferred.

The business is entering an exciting growth phase following recent investment and is expanding its pricing capability to strengthen both risk and retail pricing performance. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies across both risk and retail products.
  • Build, maintain, and refine pricing models using Emblem, Radar, and other analytical tools.
  • Apply statistical techniques (GLMs, data enrichment, and machine learning) to improve pricing performance.
  • Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a small team of pricing analysts, promoting a collaborative culture.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in general insurance pricing, ideally within travel or personal lines.
  • Hands-on experience building GLMs and working with tools such as Emblem, Radar, Python, R, or SQL.
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior analysts.
