Job summary

Skillful is seeking a pricing specialist to drive mortgage pricing across residential, buy-to-let, and commercial portfolios. You will review market positioning, own pricing of complex loan cases, and lead pricing changes from proposal to market launch in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams.

You will produce detailed pricing analyses to support strategic recommendations and help shape the broader proposition for both new business and retention of existing customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in mortgage pricing, including exposure to larger, more complex cases.
• Experience delivering product launches cross-departmentally.
• Solid Excel skills and a detailed understanding of the UK mortgage market and its regulation.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing market positioning on rate and criteria against the peer group.
• Owning the pricing of complex, larger loan cases and making the call on how they should be structured.
• Leading pricing changes from proposal through to sign off and market launch, working with Marketing, Sales, Key Accounts and New Product Development to get it right.
• Producing the analysis that sits behind pricing papers and strategic recommendations.
• Supporting the wider proposition, both for new business and retaining existing customers.
• Coaching assistant PMs and product analysts in the team.
