Job Title: Freight Pricing Coordinator

Salary: up to 40,000 + Bonus & Package

Location: Sunbury-on-Thames

Duties:

1. Conduct market research on freight industry trends, competitive pricing, and emerging opportunities.
2. Manage service operations, supply information, and generate quotes for air, road, and ocean transportation modes.
3. Collaborate with customs brokers, providing accurate information for swift import/export clearance compliant with regulations.
4. Identify and report potential claims, gathering details for prompt processing in line with company protocols.
5. Work with carriers to obtain competitive transportation rates, analyzing trends and benchmarks.
6. Perform cost analysis for shipping routes, considering fuel, customs fees, and other factors.
7. Work with sales teams to develop pricing strategies aligned with company objectives.
8. Prepare accurate freight quotes, ensuring adherence to pricing agreements.
9. Manage and periodically review carrier contracts for optimization.
10. Utilize data analytics to monitor market changes and inform pricing decisions.
11. Communicate pricing information effectively to internal teams and customers.
12. Address customer inquiries, providing solutions that meet customer needs and company goals.
13. Coordinate with other departments to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
14. Support sales teams in presenting and explaining pricing structures.
15. Stay updated on industry regulations to ensure compliant pricing practices.
16. Regularly evaluate and improve pricing processes for efficiency and competitiveness.
17. Use market intelligence to adapt pricing strategies to market conditions.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience handling multiple freight modes (Air, Ocean, Road).
• Proficiency with systems such as CDS, MultiFreight, Cargowise, etc.
• Minimum 2 years of freight industry experience.
• Strong account management skills.
• Experience in pricing and freight coordination.
• Import/export freight experience.
