Job summary

pmactuarial (PMA) specialises in Actuarial search within the UK Life insurance market and seeks a Pricing Development Actuary for a life insurer. The role focuses on pricing Retail Annuities and modelling asset-backed solutions while developing tools to support pricing decisions.

The ideal candidate is nearly/newly/fully qualified with pricing experience, and apprehension to work on Matching Adjustment and methodology development. Coding in any language is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Nearly/newly/fully qualified actuary with pricing experience.
• Experience with Pricing of Retail Annuities is preferred.
• Exposure to Matching Adjustment and methodology development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support pricing of Retail Annuities for a life insurer.
• Develop and maintain pricing models and tools.
• Collaborate on asset-backed solutions and capital relief initiatives.

The role will focus on supporting the Pricing of Retail Annuities as well as modelling asset backed solutions and developing tools.

The role would suit a nearly, newly or qualified Actuary with previous Pricing experience or those that have worked on Matching Adjustment and Methodology development. Previous experience of coding in any language would be highly desirable.
