Job summary

Arthur is seeking a Qualified London Market Actuary to join a newly appointed Head of Pricing and help build a pricing function from the ground up. You’ll have broad 360-degree pricing exposure across Property, Casualty and Specialty lines and work closely with Underwriting.

Based in London, this senior role offers visibility, impact, and a path to shape the future pricing team within a growing (re)insurer with a new syndicate.

Pricing Actuary – All Lines | Team Build

£100,000–£125,000 + excellent benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified London Market Actuary to join a newly appointed Head of Pricing and play a key role in building a pricing function from the ground up. Joining a well-established (re)insurer that has recently launched a new syndicate, you’ll act as No. 2 to the Head of Pricing in a highly visible role with genuine scope to make an impact. The role offers broad 360-degree pricing exposure, including:

• Case Pricing
• Pricing Model Development
• Working closely with Underwriting
• Supporting the development of a new pricing framework
• Helping shape and build the wider pricing team as the function grows

The organisation is a highly respected player in the London Market, with a strong portfolio across Property, Casualty and Specialty lines. With an ambitious 3–5 year growth strategy, there are plans to build a sizeable pricing function, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Actuary who wants to play a pivotal role in shaping the team and its future direction.
