Your future, as a Pricing Data Scientist at mydentist

You'll be joining our IT team within our office called the Support Centre.

• The role is a 6 month FTC
• Full time hours
• Fully remote with occasional travel to our support centre when required (M26 1GG)
• Supportive and experienced team
• You will benefit from free onsite parking and Kearsley train station is just a short walk away
• With an onsite mini market shop and casual seating space inside and outside (for the sunnier days)

Your future, your role

As a Pricing Data Scientist, you'll be:

• Using data to drive insights, build models, and guide business decisions that directly impact revenue and customer value.
• Conducting exploratory data analysis and statistical testing to understand pricing impacts and customer behaviour.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Finance, Marketing, and Product to shape pricing strategy.
• Monitoring and evaluating pricing performance and continuously refining models based on market trends and business needs.

Your skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data science or analytics, with a focus on pricing, revenue optimisation, or similar.
• Strong statistical and modelling skills - regression, time series analysis, clustering, etc.
• Strong experimentation experience, frameworks (A/B testing, multivariate testing).
• Experience with pricing-related datasets and metrics (e.g., price elasticity, competitive pricing, customer value).
• Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL.
