Job summary

Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) Milton Keynes invites undergraduates to join the Remarketing team as a Pricing Analyst Undergraduate. You will support pricing decisions for vehicles sold through remarketing channels, using market trends, historic performance, Tableau and internal data to maximise disposal values and stock turnover.

This placement is a 12-13 month FTC with a hybrid work pattern (3 days in the office).

Qualifications

• Studying towards a Business or Economics related degree.
• Strong Excel skills essential.
• Developing analytical skills and confidence using systematic thought processes.
• High attention to detail, quality, consistency and accuracy.
• Self-motivated with strong organisation and initiative.
• Able to adapt to change, take ownership and meet strict deadlines.
• Developing written and verbal communication skills, including confidence to engage, influence or challenge audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyse market trends and historic vehicle performance to support pricing recommendations.
• Manually price exception vehicles considering spec, age, mileage and market conditions.
• Monitor and update pricing within the Pricing Model to achieve strong values.
• Review driversales channel performance and provide pricing summaries with data-backed recommendations.
• Produce and manage management information using Tableau.
• Monitor VWFS data to identify market movements and trends.
• Benchmark industry-wide performance to support process improvements and leadership in leasing.
• Create monthly UK disposal data submissions for VWG and HQ.
