Overview

At Allianz, we're seeking a Commercial Pricing Analyst to help shape pricing strategies for our retail motor insurance portfolio in Belgium. This is a key role within our international Property & Casualty Pricing team - designed not just for modeling experts, but for individuals who can connect technical insights to market realities. If you enjoy challenging assumptions, influencing pricing decisions, and working in a collaborative, cross-border context, this role is for you.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that balance risk, competitiveness, and profitability.
  • Conduct analyses using both internal data and external market intelligence to refine our pricing approach, including discounting approach.
  • Evaluate pricing adequacy and propose actionable improvements.
  • Use insights to support business decision-making, beyond just technical soundness.
  • Collaborate with teams across functions and regions to align on pricing direction.
  • Contribute to strategic pricing projects and continuous process improvements.
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Experience in pricing, actuarial, or analytical roles within non-life insurance.
  • Strong understanding of retail insurance (motor and/or property).
  • Ability to bridge technical analysis with commercial judgement.
  • Comfortable working with data, but also able to challenge and contextualize results.
  • Fluent in English (our working language), plus proficiency in Dutch or French.
  • Proactive mindset, capable of working independently within a supportive team structure.
