Job Description:

Addison Group is working with our client, a leading manufacturing organization, to hire a Pricing Analyst and Project Coordinator. This direct hire role is based in Lincolnshire, IL and supports pricing strategy and project coordination across several business units. Approximately 80% of the role is focused on pricing analytics, while 20% involves coordinating cross-functional improvement projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing pricing data, including cost changes, margins, and discount structures
  • Proposing pricing adjustments using customer and historical sales data
  • Ensuring compliance with audit requirements and pricing approval workflows
  • Managing and updating pricing records and discounting in SAP
  • Supporting initiatives to improve pricing accuracy and reduce manual tasks
  • Collaborating with purchasing, warehouse, sales, and operations teams
  • Calculating business math elements such as margin analysis and profitability evaluations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pricing analysis or related business math roles
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree
  • Prior experience in the distribution industry strongly
  • Advanced Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs)
  • Familiarity with SAP/S4 Hana required
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple projects independently
