Job summary

World Fuel Services Europe, Ltd. in Elland invites an Energy Pricing Analyst to join our growing energy team. You will secure competitive pricing from suppliers, analyse offers, and provide commercial insights to help clients make informed energy purchasing decisions.

You will work with energy consultants, suppliers and customers to negotiate quotations, monitor market activity, and document pricing decisions, ensuring contracts are accurate and timely in a fast-moving market.

In this role, you'll be responsible for securing competitive energy pricing, analysing supplier offers, monitoring market activity, and providing commercial insights that help businesses make informed energy purchasing decisions.You'll work closely with energy consultants, suppliers, and clients to deliver accurate pricing analysis, negotiate supplier quotations, and ensure contracts are secured efficiently in a fast-moving market environment.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining analysis, commercial decision-making, customer service, and market intelligence in a dynamic and rewarding industry.What You'll DoEnergy Pricing & Commercial AnalysisObtain and negotiate energy pricing from suppliers and supplier portals.Compare supplier offers and create detailed pricing analyses for consultants and clients.Evaluate contract options, products, pricing structures, and supplier terms.Identify the most competitive and appropriate pricing solutions based on customer requirements.Ensure all pricing recommendations are accurate, compliant, and commercially sound.Monitor market activity and understand factors influencing energy prices and procurement decisions.Contract & Supplier ManagementProcess signed contracts and ensure pricing is secured before market deadlines.Liaise directly with suppliers to confirm rates, negotiate improvements, and secure contract acceptance.Track contract progress and ensure all supporting documentation is completed and submitted on time.Manage contract amendments, renewals, direct debit documentation, and other onboarding requirements.Handle credit-related queries and progress issues through to successful resolution.Market Intelligence & ReportingMonitor energy market trends and maintain awareness of pricing movements.Prepare market updates, pricing reports, graphs, and intelligence summaries.Support forecasting, renewal planning, supplier reporting, and portfolio pricing exercises.Provide timely commercial insights to internal stakeholders and sales teams.Contribute to continuous improvement of pricing processes and reporting.Stakeholder CommunicationBuild strong relationships with suppliers, consultants, and internal teams.Communicate pricing updates, contract status, and market developments clearly and professionally.Ensure all client interactions, pricing activity, and documentation are accurately recorded within company systems.Escalate concerns or risks that may impact contract execution or pricing outcomes.What We're Looking ForRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience in pricing, commercial analysis, sales support, procurement, account management, contract administration, utilities, or a related business function.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and compare complex pricing information.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Effective communication and relationship-building skills.Comfortable working with data, reports, spreadsheets, and business systems.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.Strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness.Preferred ExperienceExperience within the energy, utilities, procurement, pricing, or contract management sectors.Exposure to supplier negotiations or commercial contracting.Understanding of energy markets and energy pricing structures.Experience working with CRM systems or document management platforms.Advanced Excel skills and experience producing reports and data analysis.What Makes You SuccessfulYou are someone who:Enjoys analysing data and solving commercial problems.Has a strong eye for detail and accuracy.Is naturally curious about markets, pricing, and industry trends.Takes ownership of their workload and follows issues through to completion.Builds positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.Thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.Is comfortable challenging assumptions and asking questions to ensure the right outcome.#WFS#LI-JL1Please note that by submitting an employment application you consent to World Fuel Services processing your information for this role and potentially for future employment opportunities, in accordance with applicable laws.
