Job summary

World Fuel seeks an Energy Pricing Analyst to join our Elland team. You will work hybrid, with office days Monday to Wednesday, to analyse energy pricing, compare supplier offers, and prepare pricing reports for sales teams.

You will liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support renewals and contract delivery. The role emphasizes numerical analysis, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced energy market.

• Support Commercial Pricing Activities: obtain and compare energy contract offers, analyze pricing data, prepare pricing reports and recommendations for sales teams.
• Build relationships with energy suppliers and internal stakeholders; support customer renewals and business growth.
• Ensure signed contracts are submitted to suppliers promptly and pricing is secured before deadlines.
• Monitor energy market trends and share pricing insights with the business.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal CRM systems.

Energy Pricing Analyst

Location: Elland, West Yorkshire

Work Pattern: Hybrid (Office Days: Monday to Wednesday)

You'll gain hands-on experience within the energy sector, learning how energy contracts are priced, negotiated, and delivered while working closely with suppliers, customers, and our sales teams. No two days are the same, and you'll play a key role in helping businesses secure competitive energy contracts.

What You'll Be Doing

Support Commercial Pricing Activities

• Obtain and compare energy contract offers from a variety of suppliers.
• Analyse pricing data and identify competitive options for customers.
• Prepare professional pricing reports and recommendations for our sales teams.
• Monitor market activity and help ensure customers receive accurate and competitive energy pricing.

Build Strong Relationships

• Liaise with energy suppliers daily to obtain pricing and commercial information.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with sales teams to support customer renewals and business growth.
• Communicate confidently with colleagues and external partners.

Keep Deals Moving

• Ensure signed contracts are submitted to suppliers promptly.
• Confirm pricing is secured before market deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal CRM systems.
• Support the smooth delivery of customer contracts from quote through completion.

Stay Connected to the Market
