Team/Role Overview

Citi Markets is looking for Price Risk Data Program Lead, supporting the Price Risk book of work and data controls team. ‘Price Risk’ includes all aspects of market risk management across First Line and Second Line functions and the program sets out to improve completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of valuations and risk sensitivities data calculated and provisioned by Markets.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of strategic deliverables aligned to key datasets within Price Risk (i.e. trade population and attributes, market data, business hierarchy, product hierarchy, pricing environments) for global Markets across all asset classes, supporting the Head of Price Risk Data
  • Establish and maintain rigorous program governance frameworks, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to understand data and business requirements. This includes defining project plans and proactively managing timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive program strategy, including detailed roadmaps and timelines. This strategy must be aligned with overarching organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and existing commitments to achieve the designed target-state control-framework for Price Risk.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure program scope definitions meet business objectives and cost-benefit analysis remains aligned.
  • Provide regular, timely, and transparent status reporting, effectively communicating next steps and dependencies. Maintain comprehensive documentation of decisions and changes to ensure clear understanding and accountability.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with Program/Project Managers and stakeholders across functions and programs to ensure a shared understanding of program scope, schedule, milestones, and deliverables. Effectively manage dependencies and deliverables, and proactively assess and mitigate potential risks and issues

What we’ll need from you

  • Proven experience in relevant fields of with a risk and control role within First Line and/or Second Line experience or in an associated consulting role, in Markets or Financial Services
  • Good knowledge of data used in Markets data flows and architecture (trade, market data, reference data), data governance tooling and lineage – experience in operationalizing golden sources of data and ideally, front-to-back flows supporting Risk and Finance
  • Strong program management discipline and structure to drive large-scale change
  • People management skills, with the ability to influence (without having direct authority) a diverse, high performing team located in different geographies and time zones
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders across Businesses/Functions, especially with senior management
  • Ability to handle complexity, ambiguity and a fast paced dynamic, and often demanding work environment
  • Ability to skilfully negotiate and manage conflict with stakeholders across businesses/functions
