The Role: The Price Reporter for EMEA Low-Carbon & Base Metals Markets is a market reporter based in London responsible for day-to-day reporting on non-ferrous markets for Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights in the EMEA region.
The Team: This is an excellent opportunity to join the world’s leading price reporting organization as it expands its presence across the European metals supply chain. Our customers in over 150 countries rely on our expertise in pricing, news, and analytics to ensure market transparency and efficiency. The EMEA metals pricing team manages key regional pricing benchmarks. The price reporter will collaborate with colleagues in London and globally, often in a fast-paced environment.
We seek a market reporter to enhance our coverage of base and low-carbon metals pricing in Europe. The successful candidate will be part of a global team, knowledgeable in market intelligence-gathering, price assessment, and applying Platts methodology. The role involves writing about pricing data, interpreting market information, and working collaboratively within a team.
The successful candidate will report on and influence coverage of key EMEA base metals markets, which are vital for regional industrialization amid evolving trade policies and environmental regulations.
This role offers exposure to the metals industry’s pricing dynamics, participation in a global organization with a strong methodology, and the chance to contribute to developing low-carbon metals assessments in Europe during a period of significant change.
