Position Description/Summary :

Reporting Directly to Prevention Services Program Manager, the Prevention Services Youth Supervisor provides direct supervision and case/ program management for the Prevention Services Youth Workers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provides day-to-day supervision of Prevention Services Youth Workers.
• Responsible for planning and coordinating workload including the setting of priorities for those under his/ her supervision.
• Obtaining accreditation in a best practice parent training program.
• Responsible for planning and coordinating family camps and other prevention initiatives.
• Ensure the maintenance of standards of quality of work within Prevention Services through a regular evaluation process.
• Work closely with all other La Ronge ICFS programs and services in order to empower families.
• Provide community education and awareness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• BSW/ BISW
• Minimum 5 years direct human services experience
• Effective communication skills – written and verbal
• Self-motivated, good organization skills
• Criminal Record, Valid Driver’s License and Driver’s Abstract Clearance
