Plastipak is looking for an experienced Preventative Maintenance Technician at our plastics facility in Harve de Grace, MD. This is a Direct Hire position that offers paid training and opportunities for advancement.

Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Technician

Location: Harve de Grace, MD

Pay: $27/hr

What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform maintenance for either extrusion or Sidel manufacturing equipment to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations
  • Execute & continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures
  • Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution
  • Assure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices & procedures
  • Grow your knowledge and skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 3 years of Maintenance experience required, extrusion strongly
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics
  • Welding/fabrication experience a plus
  • PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience is a bonus
