Overview

Preventative Maintenance Engineer

Our client is recruiting an experienced Preventative Maintenance Engineer to join their team in their Lancashire factory. You'll be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of the machines by adopting a continuous improvement approach to maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a larger team, focusing on dedicated kit and acting as the subject matter expert.
  • Lead on the implementation of maintenance programmes designed to prevent failures and minimise downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential threats and resolve them before they escalate into bigger problems.
  • Apply root cause analysis to breakdowns to engineer out further problems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on a daily basis, including lubrication, adjustments and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all engineering activities and equipment performance.
  • Drive future improvement projects with a tenacious approach to achieving long-term fixes.
