Major Job Functions
  1. Preventative Maintenance Servicing (routine servicing, oil samples) - 75%
  2. Machine Inspection (visual/mechanical analysis, highlighting issues) - 20%
  3. Minor Repairs (minor repairs, telematic systems, undercarriage inspections) - 5%

Requirements

This is a field-based role. Drivers must have held a full license for 2+ years (DVLA check). Working hours: 43 hrs/week, Tuesday-Saturday.

Skills & Accountability

Knowledge of Engines, Hydraulics, Powertrain, Electronics. Attend customer sites, ensure work quality, safety, and proper documentation. Take care of company vehicle and equipment.

Education & Experience

Approx. 3 years experience or related engineering background (car mechanic, HGV fitter, military vehicle, apprenticeship with C&G Level 1). Health & Safety training desirable but not essential.
