As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will work in conjunction with the controller to maximise the operational availability of equipment for the customer through timely and efficient routine and preventative maintenance servicing and machine inspections. Identifying possible issues which may impact availability as well as being tasked with carrying out minor repairs as requested. During this role, you will be an ambassador for safety, servicing products in a manner that promotes safety for yourself and the customer.

This is a field-based role. All drivers must have held a full driving license for at least 2 years. Working hours are 43 hours/week with flexible start/end times, Monday to Friday, with 1 Saturday in 3 at overtime rate.
Basic knowledge of Engines, Hydraulics, Powertrain, and Vehicle Electronics/Electrics related to heavy mobile plant servicing and repair.
Attend customer locations, perform preventive maintenance, liaise with service controller and customer, ensure high standards and safety, complete paperwork accurately, and maintain company vehicle and equipment.
Approximately 3 years of relevant experience or related engineering background such as HGV fitter, mechanic, military vehicle technician, or apprenticeship with at least C&G Level 1. Additional health & safety training is desirable but not essential.
Great for transferable skills engineers aiming to enter the plant industry. Training provided with potential for progression into field service roles.
