Position Overview: As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will work with the controller to maximize equipment availability through routine and preventative maintenance, machine inspections, and minor repairs. You will promote safety by servicing products in a manner that ensures safety for yourself and the customer.

This is a field-based role. A full driving license held for at least 2 years is required, subject to DVLA check.
Working Hours: 43 hours/week, flexible start/end times, Monday-Friday, 1 Saturday in 3 at overtime rate.
Specific Skills: Basic knowledge of Engines, Hydraulics, Powertrain, and Vehicle Electronics/Electrics related to heavy mobile plant servicing and repair.
Accountability: Attend customer sites, perform preventive maintenance, liaise with service controller and customers, ensure work standards and safety, complete paperwork accurately, and maintain company vehicle and equipment.
Education and Experience: About 3 years' experience or relevant engineering background (e.g., mechanic, HGV fitter, agricultural engineer, military vehicle experience). Formal apprenticeship with C&G Level 1 preferred. Training will be provided, with opportunities for career progression.
