Job summary

ACS Automotive Recruitment is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a prestige main dealer group in Guildford, offering a competitive £30-45k basic DOE plus bonus. The role is permanent and full-time with 40 hours per week, including Saturdays on a rota schedule.

You will perform servicing, diagnostics and repairs to high standards, communicate with the service desk and workshop control, and maintain up-to-date product knowledge as part of a team with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle Technician in a main dealer or independent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, diagnosing and repairing of vehicles to high standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and referrals.

Our client, a prestige Motor Trade main dealer group in the Guildford area, is on the lookout for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. If you hold the right experience - this could be your next role!

Duties & Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:

• Carrying out servicing, diagnosing and repairing of vehicles to excellent standards.
• Delivering exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
• Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control.
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
• Adhering to manufacturer procedures and processes.
• Being part of a team and bringing a high attention to detail.
• Providing your technical expert opinion to customers.

Your Background & Skill:

• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or independent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
