Qualifications

  • Qualified: Level 3 (minimum) - HNC/HND in Engineering preferred.
  • Oil & Gas/process maintenance background; expertise in pipe installation and pressure testing.
  • Strong grasp of health and safety regulations; organized and effective under pressure.

Job title: Pressure Systems Maintenance Technician (Mechanical/Gas)

Location: Spadeadam, Cumbria (on-site)

What will you be doing?

  • Building and improving bespoke test rigs for low/intermediate/high-pressure gas systems-be the creative, hands-on expert.
  • Installing pipework and associated controls; drafting focused test and safety procedures.
  • Maintaining pressurised gas systems; brave fault-finding and rectification.
  • Supporting trials that accelerate alternative fuels and net-zero innovation, be a motivated winner.
  • Working outdoors across a unique site with varied, inspired projects.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • Qualified: Level 3 (min) - HNC/HND in Engineering preferred or determined to achieve.
  • Oil & Gas/process maintenance background; pipe installation & pressure testing expertise.
  • CMMS experience; hazardous-area inspections (Ex) and gas transmission/distribution know-how.
  • Strong grasp of H&S regulations; focused, organised, and successful under time pressure.
  • Full UK driving licence; able to obtain UK Security Clearance.
