Job description
Overview

Due to growth and a new project, we are currently looking for a Pressure Control Maintenance Technician for our Well Services Team in our Blackburn office (Aberdeen). This is a new area of our business so it is an exciting time to join!

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining Coiled Tubing/Wireline BOP’s and Coiled Tubing/Wireline Stuffing Boxes
  • Pressure Testing pressure control equipment and treating hoses within Well Services.
  • Performing shear / slip testing in line with Archer CT procedures and / or customer requirements.
  • Ensure adequate spares and in stock and readily available.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of 5-year major certification updates on PCE.
  • Maintain and update necessary certification for pressure control across all UK business units.
  • Input and adherence to business units’ quality plans in line with relevant industry standards.
  • Lead safety culture with focus on Archer’s five core values in line with other workshop personnel.
  • Following and updating maintenance procedures
  • Ensure that preventative maintenance is carried out at the correct intervals.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and original build standards
Requirements / Qualifications
  • The candidate must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Relevant mechanical background and preferably experience working on pressure control equipment.
  • Prior experience in maintenance operations or a similar role would be required.
  • Flexible to work in all other areas of the workshops when operationally required.
  • Proactive in development of the PCE processes.
