Position: Press Tool Maker or Grinder

Salary: £32,000-£40,000 + Competitive Salary + Industry Training + Overtime + Excellent Company Benefits + Free Onsite Parking + Progression (Commutable from Luton, Oxford, Watford, Slough, Bicester)

In this role, you will manufacture press tools, jigs, and fixtures, and support the growing team. It is a hands-on position requiring timely work in creating and cutting tools and inspecting parts for quality control.

The ideal candidate will have experience in press tool making or grinding and be able to work to, or be willing to learn to work to, tight tolerances. Confidence in the use of CNC machines and report compilation is also desirable.

The Role:

1. Work with surface and cylindrical grinders.
2. Manufacture bespoke items for injection mould tools.
3. Carry out repairs and maintenance of tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
4. Receive specialist training.

The Person:

1. Experience in press tool making or grinding.
2. Experience with CAD 3D and Excel.
3. Ability to run diagnostics, implement solutions, and monitor outcomes for success or further improvement.
